Marina Alta

The capes and charming coves of the northern Cota Blanca have attracted settler for thousands of years, but the trickle became a deluge during the 1960s. It‘ easy to see the allure of the magnificent coastline, with its cliffs and small coves of crystal water, but the coast is only half the story. Just a few miles inland, remote sierras and lush valleys remain untouched, with white villages dreaming on hilltops, waterfalls plunging into natural pools, and ruins of castles and ancient towns recalling a past.
